What we collect
When you use the contact form, we receive your name, your email and anything you choose to add, such as your organization, event details, phone number, location or message. When you sign up for notes on heart health and longevity, we receive your email address.
Our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site secure. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.
Please don’t send medical information
This website is not a patient portal. Please don’t include medical records, diagnoses or test results in the contact form or the assistant. If you’re reaching out about a surgical case, Dr. Stewart’s team will follow up with a secure way to share records. In an emergency, call 911.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and arrange speaking, media, advisory or surgical conversations
- To send the notes you signed up for
- To keep the website secure and working well
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help run this website and deliver email, such as our web host, and only so they can provide that service. We may also share information if the law requires it.
The assistant
The chat assistant answers general questions using information on this website. It is not medical advice. Please don’t share personal or medical details in it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to respond and keep basic records. You can unsubscribe from notes at any time, and we’ll remove your email from the list.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us, or to stop emailing you. Depending on where you live, such as California or the European Union, you may have additional rights, and we’ll honor them. To make a request, send us a message and choose “Other.”
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
